This workshop will be an introduction to NFT’s (non-fungible tokens) for artists interested in experimenting with the new technology. Discussed topics will include digital ownership/digital scarcity, current NFT platforms, understanding crypto wallets, and addressing some of the current criticisms of the space. 

Bryan Laurenson is the guitarist for the indie rock band Copeland, as well as the owner of the guitar pedal company Quiet Theory. He had a front row seat to the MP3 era that changed the music industry forever, and sees a strong parallel to the new decentralized technologies emerging today. He is excited to educate creative people looking to understand more about this potential paradigm shift.
